This programme uses free format
technology and therefore contains a work area which allows the learner
to type in up to 51 steps to solve a problem. The programme is
intelligent enough to assess ANY solution, as long as it is
mathematically correct. If the learner gives an incorrect answer, the
programme will check the step that were followed.
An interactive maths program,
based on the Grade 4 to 7 sillabus. It contains:
- Learning material: Most topics are
presented in an interactive manner. This interaction includes dialogue.
Progress is determined by the learner's answers. Once the learner has
mastered a concept, the program will advance to the next concept.
- Drill Exercises: This section tests
whether the learner has mastered the required techniques. Poor performance
will automatically generate revision material.
- Speed tests: Enjoyable exercises
which allows the learner to establish what he has just learned.
- Practical application and games:
Where appropriate, practical application
of the material and games based on the material that were just covered, is
given.
- Mazes:. More drill exercises where
the learner answers questions (based on the section that has just been
completed). If the questions are answered correctly, the learner is
allowed to advance through the maze.
- A large variety of tests and
assessments.
- Word problems.
